« A bold expo (audacious, hardi, intrépide, brave et frank) the audience is quietly challenged to stand, and look! »

Gate one – Gate two «Brambles Garden»
Private commission – «La Sphère Armillaire» – Montpellier
Design of Immersive Experience – Layered work – Drawing graphite and black stone on wood panels
Gold leaf. Photography Diasec.
For the drawing in situ I used the Tratteggio retouch technique which I borrowed from my restoration work.
Fines lines drawn freehand, rigorously vertical and parallel.
In my mind I envisioned "impenetrable" heavy metal doors.
In contrast to the harsh and dark mass of black stone and graphite, the gold leaf square.
As for the photography I wished one would be thrown inside this image upon entering.
"Brambles garden" represents a place of permanency or a place of passage.
To bring out both depth and contrast to the photographic object the choice of the Diasec process
indeed appeared to be the obvious technical and aesthetic choice.
