The Hills

The Hills is the imagined and sublimated landscape of a secret history ; fragments of a suggested anamorphosis through a series of photographs and drawings whose perspective the viewer discovers step by step. The projective drawings are part of a set, like those automatic sketches produced by the confines of our consciousness in the absence of attention or intent. The images seem to emerge directly from an uncontrolled flow of consciousness, they tell stories while exploring some feelings. The photographs abolish and reconstruct the geography of the hills to take with them behind the scenes, at the risk of getting lost astray.
